Hello good people! I hope that this post finds the few that read in good spirits, with a cool lemonade in their hands, and staying cool with this heat. Phew... it was a hot one in Toledo this past weekend. Our spectacular guard base *extreme sarcasm* has no heat or AC. It makes for some sweaty boobs for this gal.

Back at home in Columbus, the weather is cooler and more rainy. I got spit on by some teeny tiny raindrops this afternoon during my ride, but other than that it hasn't been too wet today. It has been a pretty set summer thus far though.

Tomorrow we leave again (Sam is REALLY going to hate me) for Wright Patt; we are helping out the band up there and will get to see a few of our friends :o) Friends are always good :o) Work... not so much. I'm going to try... keyword try... to get up and ride before we leave at noon. We'll see how much packing I get done today.

Yesterday I bowed my head in silence several times through the day wishing my Father a great day. I surrender my heart to be filled with acceptance, understanding and good memories of this amazing man, role model and dear friend. Nothing will ever ever ever replace him or the bond that I so dearly had with him. Happy Father's Day Daddy. I miss you immensely.

There isn't much to tell you other than I've started riding again (today I did 27 miles), I love reading The Hunger Games, and I miss my pups. A'right... the couch is calling me :o) I need to rest up... I think Jesse is going to drag me to see "The Green Lantern" tonight.

Much love from me to you.
