2 - so... no shower = gross feeling and looking. Trust me.
3 - two things that make you feel even more gross not including being able to shower... having greasy hair that you accidently ran your overly lotioned hands in prior to getting in bed last night, and having to wear your glasses. I could ring the grease from my hair.
4 - I wore sandals this morning. As I was pulling out of the driveway... the skies opened up into what has been one of the most nastiest cold and rainy days this Spring has seen.
5 - I also wore a knit sweater and a light light light overcoat this morning. Along with sandals. And wide leg jeans that soak up rain easily. These are all very nice things... but not for days when the temperature doesn't reach 50.
6 - I have come to learn this about myself... I do not like sorority girls. They + me (the girl who has greasy hair and wears glasses) do no mix. There are puh-lenty of these girls in my anatomy lecture / lab... I get the looks... I get the eye roll... I get the feeling that they don't like me either.
*my apologies if you were a sorority girl*
7 - A class that I have nicknamed 'study skills'... the girls in there drive me absolutely BONKERS. I honestly cannot even fake a smile when I have class with them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. "Study Skills" is a class that you take to learn to be a better student. One where you learn to take better notes, learn test taking strategies, learn how to increase your GPA... basically a class that teaches you to succeed at being a college student. Chickadees are constantly texting, checking facebook, talking/whispering with eachother, ect ect ect. It annoyed me 8 weeks ago when the class started, and it sure as hell still bothers me today. I'm tempted to email the professor about it, but if she hasn't fixed it to date, what is another two weeks? ARGH!
8 - I had to wait 15 minutes for the bus that is supposed to come every 5-6 minutes today. In the rain. And cold. While wearing my sandals. And also my knit sweater. Looking fabulous with my greasy hair and glasses.
9 - While getting in my car, I slammed my right pointer finger between my car and the car next to me to save from denting either. The wind grabbed my door and pushed it toward the other car. My right hand was free... and apparently I was willing to save a material item for something I use daily which cannot be replaced. Smart, huh?!
10 - this was a facebook post this morning from me while waiting for the anatomy lab doors to open...
so...
I think I'm going to relax a little while. I know that I need to study (alot) for medical terminology, but my mood needs to improve in order to be any kind of productive from this point on. I've showered since being home, lit candles, and gotten plenty of puppy and Sammy Noodle love.
Thanks for listening.
Cheer up Becky! I heart you!
